  Notes	It is possible that this John Layne is not the one that married Tabitha and it was instead John Layne III, son of John and Esther. However I'm inclined to believe it was David's son for a few reasons. - Their firstborn son is named Stephen which was also the name of David's firstborn. - The proximity to other children of David. - All of the John and Esther branch has moved to Grundy County by 1860, however this family does not.
