In addition, there an affidavit is swore to by an uncle "Mark" on Henry's birth certificate in 1950, meaning this Mark had to be alive at that point. This leads me to believe that Martha (Fanny) must have been the daughter of Alexander and Margaret (McDaniel) Layne.
