  Floyd Benjamin Layne's book states she married Bill Spears and lived in CA. I can find no evidence to support this however. She may be the daughter listed a "Lyda" in the 1880 census. Some other researchers believe "Lyda" is Renda or Lurinda but Renda is the daughter of Dan and Nancy Layne.
