Crime & Punishment

So last night Alex (my daughter) was not being a good girl… at all. It’s not important to get into the list of transgressions right now, but suffice to say it was worthy of a spanking and grounding her from television for a day. After she responded to being grounded from television for a day with “I don’t care”, I told her “Fine, you can be grounded for another day”. At which point she tried to recant.

So anyway, on to this morning. As Susie was getting Alex ready for school this morning Alex matter-of-factly informed Susie, “Momma, since I’m grounded from TV, I’m going to need you to tape a couple of shows for me today”.
