Yesterday was my mother's birthday (Happy Birthday Mom!) and last Sunday we were at my sister's celebrating. We invited our mom too, by the way. After lunch, the birthday cake was brought out and the usual preparations were made to sing Happy Birthday. Everyone, including my mother, was gathered around while my sister, Roxanne, started placing candles in the cake when the following exchange was heard between my daughter Alexandria and my sister Roxanne:

Alex: How many candles are we putting on the cake Aunt Roxie?
Roxanne: 57 Alex.
Alex: Oh! What a nightmare!
